Come stay on Whidbey Island! It is 49 miles long and it takes about one hour to drive from one end to the other. There are many B&B's and hotels not to mention lots of side roads leading to beaches, campgrounds, state parks, and forest trails that will keep you and your family and friends here for days.

Lavender & Wind Art Show - 3rd Annual -  Aug. 2 & 3, 2008
In an outdoor setting many artists will be showing their work amidst lavender, sunflowers, and a spectacular view. This is a perfect opportunity to see local art in a relaxed setting with a stunning view of the Olympic Mountains, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and, of course, Lavender!  Some of the artists’ work will include subjects of lavender and/or wind and a variety of media will be represented. Music will be included this year at various times during the show.  Work will be available for purchase.

5:30 pm: db Jazz. Don Wodjenski (tenor & soprano Saxophones) and Bob Wagner (piano) return to our Artist's Reception with their fabulous sound

Saturday

10:30 am Vern Olsen
strolling accordian player and singer extraordinnaire.

12:00 pm Vieux est Nouveau
featuring Keith Allen Bowers on guitar, Joni Takinikos, vocals and Kristi O'Donnell, double bass.

2:00 pm Emmaline DelaPaix (Trio)With simple clear instrumentation and her high, crisp voice, she shows her talent as a songwriter. Her songs are catchy and her instrumentation inventive.

Sunday

10:30 am Gale DuBrow, accompanied by Hans Brehmer, will bring her wonderful singing in both French and English. She sings romantic jazz, with heartfelt storytelling that is warm and emotional with sensitive musicianship

12:00 pm Siri Bardarson on cello & guitar, and formerly of "No Band is an Island," brings a deep love of music and amazing creativity to her performances.

2:00 pm Shifty Sailors, A Whidbey Island Institution! They sing songs of the sea.

3:30 Woodrush, Their sound can be described as a blend of classic folk harmonies with a musical backbone of rock, funk, and R&B. One of their members used to pull weeds right here at Lavender Wind Farm!
