If you live in Vermont not too far from Montpelier, then visit my sister's farm in Cabot. They've got winter storage vegetables and they are fabulous people!!
Lavender Wind Farm, with a view of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan De Fuca, is on the wild west side of beautiful Whidbey Island in Washington. The farm is within the Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, and maintains the farming culture of this special area. We have perfect growing conditions for lavender, only about 18 inches of rain a year due to the Olympic Rain Shadow, lots of wind, and plenty of sun. Come visit us during blooming season.

Dig up some Maillette Lavender

U-Dig of some of our Maillette lavender for $3 per plant starting in September.  You dig it up and haul it out yourself. We've got lots. The plants are 5 years old. Maillette is not a huge lavender, and it's lacy looking. The plants are fine, we're just replacing that variety with another one.

And we have dried lavender bunches, and dried lavender for cooking and crafting.

We sell lavender plants at the farm's nursery.

These are the three "baby" barn swallows that were hatched over our front door this summer. It took them a long time to leave the nest because Mom and Dad were too kind and just kept on feeding them. Aren't they cute?
